Salaman is one of the three Greencloaks that is captured with Rollan, Abeke, Meilin, and Conor in The Dragon’s Eye. His partners are Lady Cranston and Kofe.

Appearance[]

Salaman seems to remind Conor and Rollan of their former guardian, Tarik. Salaman was lean and dusky, and he's described to be much older than the rest of the trio. Salaman seems to be pretty old and he has a white beard, yet he didn't appear withered by his age. Conor describes that age had shorn him of any weakness, instead of the opposite.

Overview[]

The four kids, Rollan, Abeke, Meilin, and Conor meet Salaman when they are imprisoned in the Oathbound's ship. Salaman was captured because he was a Greencloak, and the Greencloaks, were fugitives for supposedly killing an important figure in Erdas. Salaman and her partners were on a mission, far from Greenhaven. When they are in the ship, the four kids don't know how they look, they only have their voices to go off of. But when they are all taken out of the boat and to the Emporer's Summer Palace, they get a good look at him. Later, Salaman is tragically killed while trying to obtain the Dragon's Eye for Princess Song.
