This is a list of the character attributes you can choose while designing your character. Hair styles and hair colors can be changed later by speaking to Mustela, but all other attributes are unable to be changed.

Which Specialization a character has determines which two Special Skills they can learn and use.
There are six kinds of selectable Specializations. You will be prompted to choose your specialization after you choose your spirit animal.
Upon pressing the blue "Select" button beneath a Specialization, a confirmation page describing each Skill included in the selected Specialization will appear. The descriptions included in these confirmation pages are as follows.

Player Skills[]
Player Skills are the skills as shown after speaking to Lenori. Attack Skills, Defense Skills, and Potions can be both unlocked and leveled up by increasing your player level. Which "Special" Skills are able to be unlocked by you is determined by which Specialization you selected, but otherwise, they can also be leveled up by the same method.

Special Skills[]
Special Skills are the unique skills a player gets depending on their Specialization. Like Attack Skills, Defense Skills, and Potions, there are 4 levels to each Special Skill. Special Skill levels are unlocked by increasing player level.
Trickster[]
Before the "Huge Update" in 2015, the Skills included in the Trickster Specialization were exclusively available to those who chose the Fox. After the update, the Skill "Fox Frenzy" was renamed as "Frenzy".
Frenzy (Fox Frenzy)
Greatly increase your movement speed.
Level 2: Increase movement speed.
Level 3: Increase duration.
Level 4: Greatly increase duration and move speed.
Sly Illusion
Disappear in a flash, reappearing nearby.
Level 2: Stun all enemies near original location.
Level 3: Increase stun duration.
Level 4: Reduce recharge time.
Brawler[]
Before the "Huge Update" in 2015, the Skills included in the Brawler Specialization were exclusively available to those who chose the Tiger. After the update, the Skills "Hunter's Gaze" and "Tiger's Claw" were renamed as "Provoke" and "Wild Swing". Most in-game Conquerors use the Brawler Specialization.
Provoke (Hunter's Gaze)
Draw nearby enemies in, then stun them.
Level 2: Increase radius.
Level 3: Increase force of pull.
Level 4: Increase damage.
Wild Swing (Tiger's Claw)
Spin your weapon to damage surrounding foes.
Level 2: Add stun effect.
Level 3: Increase duration of spin.
Level 4: Move while spinning.
Ice Mystic[]
Before the "Huge Update" in 2015, the Skills included in the Ice Mystic Specialization were exclusively available to those who chose the Emperor Penguin, which was at that time known as the Penguin. After the update, the Skill "Penguin Blizzard" was renamed as "Blizzard".
Blizzard (Penguin Blizzard)
Call upon freezing winds to push back enemies.
Level 2: Increase push force.
Level 3: Increase duration.
Level 4: Add slow.
Ice Prison
Summon a crag of ice to trap an enemy for a time.
Reaver[]
Before the "Huge Update" in 2015, the Skills included in the Reaver Specialization were exclusively available to those who chose the Komodo Dragon. After the update, the Skills "Poison Chain" and "Dragon Ember" were renamed as "Poison" and "Scorch".
Poison (Poison Chain)
Damage a single target and poison them over time.
Level 2: If target is defeated from initial damage, the effect moves to a nearby enemy.
Level 3: Increase initial damage.
Level 4: Increase damage with each enemy affected.
Scorch (Dragon Ember)
A flame that damages anyone in the blast— friend or foe.
Level 2: Increase duration of flame.
Level 3: Increase radius.
Level 4: Damage enemies only.
Hunter[]
Hunter was one of two new Specializations (the other being Rain Dancer) added by the "Huge Update" in 2015.
Aimed Shot
Aim carefully and fire a devastating arrow strike that cannot be blocked.
Level 2: Increased damage and reduced aim delay.
Level 3: Increased damage and reduced aim delay.
Level 4: Reduced aim delay, and target is knocked down.
Snare
Throw a snare onto the ground to trap enemies.
Level 2: Throw an additional snare and increased stun duration.
Level 3: Snare size increased, greater throw range.
Level 4: Additional snares and increased stun
Rain Dancer[]
Rain Dancer was one of two new Specializations (the other being Hunter) added by the "Huge Update" in 2015.
Thunderstorm
Call lightning from the sky to strike the ground in several places nearby.
Level 2: Additional lightning strikes, increased area of effect.
Level 3: Lightning strikes become larger and deal more damage.
Level 4: Opponents are stunned when struck by lightning.
Drain Life
Drain life-giving moisture from opponents over time, absorbing some to heal yourself and your allies.
Level 2: Increased damage, healing, and area of effect.
Level 3: Increased effect duration.
Level 4: Slows down affected opponents.
