Howdy, I’m Moonbreeze, but you can call me Night! I know it’s a little confusing because my name starts with Moon but it’s fine.
Pronouns are she/her
My favourite book is Fire and Ice (with The Evertree and Heart of the Land not far behind)
My least favourite book is The Burning Tide (not for the reasons you’d think) and I am somewhat unsatisfied with the ending of The Dragon’s Eye, mostly because we get no closure on Xanthe and Takoda and compared to the end of The Evertree, it sort of underwhelming. In my opinion, the ending of a book makes the book. What I mean is that the end sums up a book. Your audience needs to feel something other than disappointment when they reach the end of a book. Take The Evertree, for example. It ends with them being reunited with their families and the line “They were one.” It’s perfect. It has more closure than the end of the final book overall. There are too many loose ends in The Dragon’s Eye, and it almost seems like there was supposed to be another book after that, but there isn’t. Zhong has no leader. Xanthe’s dead for all we know. How is Olvan faring? Has Lenori starved to death yet? How does Abeke really feel about Shane? How does the creation of the team’s bond tokens affect them and their reputation? Are they able to keep their bond tokens? Are the Greencloaks accepted back into the world? Are the Redcloaks ever accepted into the world? Guess we’ll never know.
Oh goodness, I didn’t mean to turn my profile page into a rant. Anyways, uh, yeah, my spirit animal is a red panda named Hatch, and I’m writing my own book series that can be found on Wattpad.
